A hope

I was working on some stuff and thought I would lay it down for a second to share a little of my heart. These last few weeks in Catalyst I have seen something amazing: authentic community. I define authentic community as community that is natural, Spirit-inspired and life giving. I am so stoked that this is happening in our midst.

It is my prayer that this community continues. As we begin to think about this summer we must ask ourselves how to cultivate such community, how to invite others to be a part of it and how to, more fully, be followers of Jesus. I believe that God will show us the way.

Colossians 1:15-20

I am part of a really cool mini-church. We are both talking about and experimenting with ways to grow in faith. We recently fasted as a community and now we are memorizing Colossians 1:15-20 just to see what happens. Why don't you join us.
